Maison Rubaiyat is a creative house where art, fashion, and storytelling merge into unique, hand-painted creations. Founded by Maité and Didier (Didi), Maison Rubaiyat originated from a shared passion for art, craftsmanship, and personal expression.
In their studio, they create hand-painted handbags, leather goods, and art objects that balance wearable luxury and artistic freedom. Each piece is handcrafted and painted on refined Italian leather, ensuring that no two creations are ever identical.
Maison Rubaiyat believes in authenticity, originality, and timeless craftsmanship. No mass production, but carefully crafted pieces with character, emotion, and their own story.
Whether it's a bespoke one-of-a-kind design or a creation from their own collection, each piece carries the recognizable signature of the Maison: femininity, imagination, elegance, and a subtle rock-and-roll attitude.

Creative Collabs
Maison Rubaiyat began as an artistic adventure and grew into an international story of creativity and craftsmanship. What started in the studio soon resonated beyond national borders, with a solo exhibition in a renowned gallery, international clients, and various creative collaborations.
In the years that followed, the Maison continued to develop. Recent collaborations with, among others, Ganterie Boon from Antwerp, the historic glove house since 1884, Amy Roiland (A Fashion Nerd, California), Laura Citron from Nashville, and An-Katrien Casselman reflect the growth of a creative house that increasingly brings together like-minded makers and entrepreneurs.
Today, Maison Rubaiyat creates its own universe of hand-painted leather goods, art objects, and artistic collaborations. Every design starts from the same conviction: art does not solely have to hang on the wall, but can also be worn, experienced, and passed on.
These collaborations reflect what Maison Rubaiyat stands for: a contemporary arthouse where craftsmanship, imagination, and personal expression come together in unique creations with their own story.
